I haven't installed the 345.75 drivers that have MSAA support, because of the issues a lot of people have reported.
I have 2x780 Ti's and I can run everything on Ultra with Godrays set to advanced, as long as I leave AA on SMAA. This game is the most visually beautiful game I've played. I haven't progressed the campaign at all, but I've unlocked all the towers in the south. I played it yesterday with K&M after disconnecting the wireless receiver for the 360 and encountered no load issues and around 10x more animal encounters.ĭespite the frustration, I've racked up 30+ hrs. I can confirm this, so it's a conflict with the Xbox drivers. Yesterday I found a reference to the 360 controller being the cause and that unplugging it and plugging back in has the same effect as Alt-tab. I've had constant issues in game as well, with cut scenes, checkpoints, doors, buildings, animals, enemies etc all not loading until I Alt-tab. I've been getting around this by alt-tab to go out and back into the game, which kick-starts the loading. The controller works well, but it is also, for myself and several others, the root cause of the black screen/ loading issue. The game is beautiful when it works, it just doesn't work reliably. I can't do anything without the game crashing. Wait several months so the problems can be fixed. I've been using since day 2 of the release. The XBox One controller works well on the game. what u guys think? can u use a controller?[/QUO As I don't have any PC games I play, I'm trying to expend my PC gaming list. And trying to figure out if this game is worth buying and if so which platform to get it on. So first question is Far Cry 4 any good? and can you use a Controller to play it if you wanted to? I have Xbox One and also recently got back into PC gaming but sometimes like the controller better.
